About the university

New Vision University (NVU) is a private, non-profit civic university, located in Tbilisi, Georgia. Founded in 2013, it is dedicated to promoting education, research and innovation. The NVU is organized into four academic units including: School of Medicine, School of Business and Information Technology, School of Law and School of Politics and Diplomacy.

Special conditions for enrollment in medical programs

Criteria for the admission of foreign students to the doctor's program, based on the requirements of the 1997 Lisbon Agreement regarding the admission of qualified applicants

1. Proof of English language proficiency at level B2 (especially EMPE, with a pass rate of 70%)

If a student scores 60% or more (60-69%) in EMPE, the NVU offers preparatory courses in Medical English (free of charge).

If a student scores 50% or more (50-59%) in EMPE, NVU offers general and medical English language preparatory courses (free of charge).

All students are given a second chance to take an English language test.

Second. MCAT (Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems), with a pass rate of 50% or Certificate of Knowledge in Biology and Chemistry

Rules for determining proficiency in the English language

The required proficiency in the B2 level in the English language (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is demonstrated by:
